Manage your account, sign-in, and data

Your account page is the entry point for all of these — password, email verification, Google sign-in, 2FA, recovery codes, data export, and account deletion.

Change your password

If you remember your current password, you can change it directly from your account page:

  1. Sign in and open Account.
  2. Scroll to the Password section.
  3. Enter your current password and a new one (minimum 8 characters), then save.

If you've forgotten your password, use the password-reset flow. We send a one-hour, single-use link to your email address. After clicking it you set a new password and are logged in immediately.

For security, password-reset tokens are invalidated as soon as they're used. If you click an old reset link by mistake, simply request a new one.

Sign in with Google

You can sign in with Google instead of a password. On /login and /register, click the Continue with Google button — a popup asks you to pick a Google account and you're in.

Things to know:

  • If you already have a password-based account with the same email, signing in with Google links the two — no duplicate accounts.
  • We only request your email and basic profile info; we don't access Gmail, Drive, Calendar, or anything else.
  • You can still set or change a password later (in Account) so you have both options.

We use Google's ID-token verification on the backend — the credential never leaves your browser unverified, and we don't store any Google credentials.

Verify your email address

When you register, we send a verification email to your address. Click the link and your email is marked verified. Unverified accounts can still browse the product but some features (PDF export, sharing) require verification.

Didn't see the email?

  • Check your spam / promotions folder. The sender is sentinelis.enterprise@gmail.com for now.
  • Search for "Sentinellis" — sometimes the inbox provider hides newsletter-style mail.
  • From the account page, click Resend verification.

Signed in with Google? Your email is verified automatically — no extra step required.

Delete your account

You can delete your account permanently at any time. This removes your account row, every report you ran, your subscription record, audit log entries, and all associated metadata.

  1. Sign in and open Account.
  2. Scroll to Danger zone at the bottom.
  3. Click Download my data first if you want a copy (JSON export of every report and subscription history).
  4. Click Delete my account and confirm by re-entering your password.

If you have an active paid subscription, deleting your account also cancels the subscription immediately — no further charges will be made. You won't be refunded for the unused remainder of the current period.

Reports you shared publicly via /r/... links are also deleted — the shared links 404 immediately after account deletion.
